Edward Cella Art+ Architecture presents a special offering of rare and contemporary works
celebrating the Los Angeles art scene. Presented against the backdrop of Pacific Standard Time,
the exhibition is a timely offering of intimate drawings, prints, ephemera, photography, and
ceramics with the collector in mind.
LA Connected includes seminal pieces of historic ephemera by Edward Ruscha, Mason Williams,
and Billy Al Bengston. A transcendent pastel drawing by Peter Alexander adjoins encaustic
paintings by Charles Fine from a prominent collection, and an early print Laddie John Dill which in
total represent fine examples of some of the citys most influential artists. The citys iconic
architecture is recognized with a rare, vintage blueprint of Welton Beckets iconic Capitol
Record
building and a classic image of Frank Lloyd Wrights Sturges House.
Continuing this legacy, the exhibition presents recent works by Deborah Aschheim, Mary
Heebner, Brian Hollister, Brad Miller, R. Nelson Parrish, Lucas Reiner, Alex Slade, and Joni
Sternbach that offer insights into light, energy and architecture that distinguish the iconography of
Los Angeles.
