Chris Trueman American, b. 1978

Biography

I want to make paintings that appear to be making themselves as though they have been frozen in a state of transition, in the process of shedding off their previous selves, caught mid shift in a cycle of becoming and of self-destruction. I think they also speak to fragility, transience, and change.
